This is a close up of the Painted Landscape. You can see the use of the hand dyed threads and stitching. Netting was also used in a variety of areas, included here is the beading. This piece was a thank you to a very special couple.
Creating with mixed media textiles, in vivid colors gives Vivian Helena the opportunity to draw from her variety of artistic talents. Fiber art, photography, gourds and jewelry design are some of her passions. Living near Yosemite National Park, and beside the Fresno River, Vivian’s love of nature is evident in all of her art pieces.
Her work is featured in “Showcase 500 Beaded Jewelry”, and “1000 Artisan Textiles”. Vivian teaches at her home studio, and her art work is in Timberline Gallery, and Madera Circle Gallery in California.
