- Vivian Helena
- Creating with mixed media textiles, in vivid colors gives Vivian Helena the opportunity to draw from her variety of artistic talents. Fiber art, photography, gourds and jewelry design are some of her passions. Living near Yosemite National Park, and beside the Fresno River, Vivian’s love of nature is evident in all of her art pieces. Her work is featured in “Showcase 500 Beaded Jewelry”, and “1000 Artisan Textiles”. Vivian teaches at her home studio, and her art work is in Timberline Gallery, and Madera Circle Gallery in California.

Ummmm, not a pretty picture. It is said that with the privatization of water future wars will be over who gets to collect it, tap into it and divert it...It is a non-renewable resource and we can live without many things, including love, but we can't live without clean water. The town of McCloud near Shasta was just fought and won the battle over water rights from the Nestle Corporation who has been pumping thousands of gallons of water in that area and selling it back to people as bottled water. Many, many wells went dry.
